Thinly Veiled

A game set in a future, dystopian world that is largely reliant on artificial intelligence. You, the player, go through a day in the life of a person living in close proximity to a data centre. The game touches on themes of generative AI and its negative impacts on both people’s physical and mental health and our planet.

To play:

Use arrow keys to move left, right, up and down the map.

Use the spacebar or left click on your mouse to interact with items and NPCs. (There is useful info to be found in papers on tables, laptops etc.)

Check out the sparkles in the map for areas of interest!
